Binchotan charcoal is regarded as the purest and most effective type of activated charcoal and is revered for its purifying ability. These sticks are 100% Ubame Oak, and are exactly as they are when removed from the ancient kilns in which they are made. The high temperatures and quick cooling, by dousing with ash, result in glass-like and beautiful branches. When simply added to a carafe of water, the thousands of microscopic cavities left in the wood effortlessly remove unwanted toxins and impurities, while softening and improving water's taste. We provide local delivery to Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Queens, weekdays: Monday through Friday. For same day delivery, orders must be placed before 1:30pm.
For example: orders placed between 1:30pm on Friday and 1:29pm on Monday will be delivered on Monday. Orders placed between 1:30pm on Monday and 1:29pm on Tuesday will be delivered on Tuesday.

If the product came in a returnable container, such as a glass jar or a cloth bag, please return it by placing empty containers in the original delivery tote and we'll pick them up at your next delivery. We will wash and sanitize them for future reuse.
